Morris and Matesic Lead IHA to a Win

Immaculate Heart Academy 45, NV/Old Tappan 34: The Blue Eagles, who started four freshmen and a sophomore, were without senior guard Katie Jones, who tweaked her hamstring in a game against Kennedy last week. Freshman forward Anna Morris scored a game-high 13 points and sophomore guard Eliyah Herriot added 11 with three three-pointers to lead the Blue Eagles.

NV/Old Tappan pulled to within three midway through the fourth quarter, but freshman forward Emma Matesic made two free throws to start an 8-0, game-ending run for IHA.
